Equity Research Analyst

YipitData specializes in analyzing web data for institutional investors. In the past year we have doubled our team, increased revenue 2x and expanded our customer base to include the largest institutional investors in the world.

We are hiring an Equity Research Analyst with experience analyzing key business drivers to develop fundamental research using our proprietary data. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 6-10 years in buyside or sellside research who wants to lead the data driven future of investment research.

In this role, you’ll gain experience in:

  • Data Driven Research: Generate valuable insights using our datasets
  • SQL: Learn to work with large alpha-producing datasets using advanced queries
  • Granular Performance Data: Build cohort, concentration, penetration and competitive analyses
  • New Product Development: Work closely with our data and engineering teams to help build new research products
  • Relationships: Become a trusted resource for our subscribers, the largest investors in the world

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Meaningful experience analyzing businesses drivers at a leading institutional investment manager or sell side firm
  • A background in stock analysis and a passion for data driven fundamental investing
  • Knowledge of finance & accounting

Sales Executive

YipitData specializes in analyzing web data for institutional investors. We're an 80+ person fintech company servicing fundamental hedge funds and long-only/mutual funds, covering more than 50 companies across multiple sectors.

We are looking to add a driven Sales Executive to our team to position YipitData's must-have products within the investment field and close on targeted opportunities. Sales Executives will communicate the value of our products and develop relationships with our new clients.

There is a large customer base left to connect with making this an exciting opportunity to drive growth in the company.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • You have experience in contract sales and a track record of not only hitting goals but exceeding them
  • You have introduced new customers to a complex product (financial or other)
  • You have managed a sales process across multiple stakeholders
  • You excel in pitching a product over the phone and in person
  • You are resourceful and excited to learn
  • You are a strong communicator verbally and in writing
  • You are excited by and curious about the investment community

Experience selling to hedge fund and mutual fund analysts is positive but not required.

YipitData specializes in analyzing web data for institutional investors. Three years ago YipitData consisted of 20 people. Since then, we've grown to 80+, have tripled our revenue and expanded our client base to include the largest institutional investors in the world.

Now, we're excited to build out our presence in Asia. As our first Account Manager in the region, you’ll work closely with our APAC Regional Sales Director to help our growing client base make better investment decisions and identify meaningful engagement opportunities to ensure clients are benefiting from the full value of our products.

As a Hong Kong based Account Manager at YipitData:

Alternative Data Industry Specialist

On a mission to become the definitive source of expertise in alternative data, we launched a massively popular content platform called AlternativeData.org. The platform is designed to build a targeted audience of investors by publishing highly focused, value-additive content on alternative data. Just 10 weeks since launch, the site has reached over 10K visitors, generating over a thousand subscribers, and landed features in the Financial Times and Integrity Research. AlternativeData.org is a subsidiary of YipitData, a 80-person technology company providing the leading web data analytics to investors.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial candidate to spearhead this initiative by becoming the most knowledgeable individual on everything alternative data. This role is perfect for a hustler who is driven to become an expert in the fastest growing sector in institutional investing while developing content marketing skills through a varied and challenging workload. This is an exciting opportunity for an equity sales analyst, research associate, or investment banker looking to join a passionate team and develop critical skills in the fintech space. 

 

As our Alternative Data Industry Specialist, you will:
