    YipitData specializes in analyzing web data for institutional investors. In the past year we have doubled our team, increased revenue 2x and expanded our customer base to include the largest institutional investors in the world.

    We are building out our outbound sales process and looking for early stage sales executives to introduce our products to and close on targeted opportunities. Sales Executives will also help us to develop our processes and create a sales machine as we increase our product portfolio.

    This is a very large opportunity for the right person.

    Ideal Candidates:

    • Experience selling large contracts
    • Experience introducing new customers to a financial or other complex product

    We're building out our presence in Asia and looking for our first sales executive to introduce our products to and close on targeted opportunities in region.   • Data Product Engineer

    YipitData is creating the future of investment research by building the premier destination for understanding data about important companies.     We believe that an engineer should own all parts of the product they build, so your job will encompass the entire product cycle:

    • You'll investigate and evaluate the potential for new products
    • You'll help write technical specifications for your product
    • You'll take primary ownership for the development and maintenance of your product
    • You'll launch your product and have it collect live data
    • You'll work with data analysts to refine the resulting data
    • You'll contribute to the internal libraries used across products

    We work in small, integrated teams, so you'll need excellent communication skills and need to be incredibly adaptive to changing requirements. Accuracy matters immensely, so you ought have an eye for detail and be conscientious about assumptions in the code. Because our products depend heavily on external sources, you should be inquisitive and excited to dig deep into issues.

    Although we program in Python, we don’t expect you to know it — as long as you’ve programmed in a modern programming language, we will teach you the specifics of our technology stack:

    COMPANY NAME: Yipit, Inc.

    POSITION TITLE: Director of Partnerships (Req # 113P)

    POSITION DUTIES: Gather and analyze marketing metrics and feedback on company's product and competitive landscape to assess performance and present to management in order to make strategic decisions. Research market conditions in local, regional, and national areas and create relationships across the investment bank (sell-side) community to market company research reports and position them as a crucial product. Gather information to determine potential sales of the company’s product and use marketing best practices to drive product awareness in hedge fund community. Create relationships and partnerships with sell side analysts, financial journalists and other marketing channels. Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships by coordinating meetings and marketing events to market and improve our product's awareness. Read and analyze company and industry news and research, and speak with sell-side analysts, to identify complex company and competitor insights and narratives. Collaborate with company research and data teams to identify most marketable material from our research reports, as well as work with our Sales, SDR, and Customer Success teams to understand customer needs and ways to improve our sales process. Attend team meetings (and staff conferences) and analyze company reports to provide information and proposals concerning the promotion, distribution, design, and pricing of company products (research reports). Develop data-driven marketing collateral. Prepare presentations and reports from findings, illustrate error free data graphically, and translate complex findings. Coordinate rehearsal meetings and provide feedback to ensure presentations and materials are concise and persuasive. Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising and research communication efforts, programs, and strategies, propose and execute on other useful marketing approaches. Utilize CRM platforms, including Salesforce and Close.io, and other technologies like Adobe Illustrator to craft complex marketing materials.

    DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

    OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Building market research reports and analyzing market data; project management and problem solving; presentation-building from market findings; coordinating across multiple parties; analytical software; management information systems; and industry marketing efforts.
