About The Role: 

We are expanding our data team by hiring Data Specialists who will be the key producers of our data products received by our institutional investor clients. Our Data Specialist role is a fantastic opportunity for analytical individuals with 0-2 years of experience to build the core skills required to succeed in the tech, data, and investment worlds that YipitData intersects.

 

In this role you'll gain experience in:

  • Programming: Learn Python and SQL or sharpen your existing skills by running our growing portfolio of data products.
  • Data: Work with massive amounts of data on the performance of important companies, using proprietary methods. You'll learn vital techniques on ensuring data accuracy and deriving key insights across a number of types of data.

We are expanding our Research team by hiring an Associate to analyze key business drivers and help develop fundamental research on top of our popular subscription data product. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1-4 years in buyside or sellside research or management consulting who wants to lead the data-driven future of investment research.

As a Research Associate, you'll gain experience in:

  • Data Driven Research: Generate valuable insights using our datasets

About The Role:

Are you a passionate, solutions-oriented attorney looking for a new role in a fast-paced financial tech company? Joining YipitData’s legal team is a rare opportunity to become a core contributor to the success of a company that is building the future of investment research.

At YipitData, our legal team is an essential and collaborative partner in the Company’s growth. As our Associate Counsel, you will be a core player in partnering with our commercial teams to negotiate, execute and close sales.

In this role, you’ll gain experience in:

  • Developing contract negotiation and drafting skills to close deals. You will be guiding our commercial teams through the lifecycle of a deal - from initiating a contract or negotiating a NDA through closing the deal.
  • Learning in a rapidly changing environment by navigating new problems and conceiving novel contracting frameworks for creative sales ideas.
  • Enhancing processes, efficiency, and best practices, including continuing to build out our contract management platform and working with our commercial teams to improve our forms and processes.
  • Collaborating with our product, revenue, engineering, privacy and compliance, and finance teams to facilitate contract reviews and internal processes.
  • Researching, recommending and executing on key strategic opportunities and special projects. 
  • Evaluating and advising on appropriate legal courses of action to meet Company and business unit needs.
  • Executing on corporate governance matters related to board meetings, shareholders, and corporate records and documents.

You are likely to succeed, if:

  • You are excited by and highly determined to work on revenue driving commercial contracts with both legal and financial/commercial issues. You have a passion for drafting, negotiating, and redlining and are eager to further develop these skills.

About The Role:

Our Finance team is looking to bring on an experienced Accounting Manager who can help scale processes and take ownership over several monthly tasks.

As our Accounting Manager:

  • You will own our monthly financial-close procedure, including reconciling balance sheet accounts, preparing closing schedules, and booking adjusting entries
  • You will prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external parties
  • You will perform bank reconciliations and monitor our bank account
  • You will file state and local taxes, sales and use tax, commercial rent tax, annual filings, and work with an external tax accountant for timely preparation and submission of Federal and State income tax requirements
  • You will review payroll, track commissions and bonuses, and book appropriate journal entries
  • You will review vendor and customer contracts, process vendor payments, assist with our yearly financial audit and other ad hoc projects

You are likely to succeed if you:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA a big plus!
  • Can hit the ground running on the responsibilities listed above and have expertise in problem-solving when things don't go as planned
  • Have experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth company
  • Are skilled with advanced Excel formulas and feel at ease using Quickbooks
  • Are comfortable with interpreting GAAP, creating monthly close adjusting entries, and researching sales tax and other tax filings

About The Role:

Our Hong-Kong office was launched 2 years ago and is continuously growing.  We are looking for a result-driven and motivated Sales Associate who will join our team to become a core contributor and help us further grow our Asia-Pacific business.  There is still a large untapped client base in the region, and we believe this will be a great opportunity to expand our presence and grow together.  As our first Sales Associate, you will be a growth driver by interacting with some of the most sophisticated investors in the Asia-Pacific market and help them better understand the companies in their investment portfolios through our must-have products.

As a Sales Associate at YipitData, you will build the skills to manage the entire sales process from establishing new contacts to closing deals. Working closely with our Director of Sales, you’ll initially partner together to source and close new opportunities and will be on a path to own the entire process. You will master various skillsets including, but not limited to:
