We are expanding our Research team by hiring an Associate to analyze key business drivers and help develop fundamental research on top of our popular subscription data product. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1-4 years in buyside or sellside research or management consulting who wants to lead the data-driven future of investment research.

In this role, you’ll gain experience in:

  • Data Driven Research: Generate valuable insights using our datasets
  • SQL: Learn to work with large alpha-producing datasets using advanced queries
  • Granular Performance Data: Build cohort, concentration, penetration and competitive analyses
  • New Product Development: Work closely with our data and engineering teams to help build new research products
  • Relationships: Become a trusted resource for our subscribers, the largest investors in the world

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in equity research or management consulting styled writing
  • A background in stock analysis and a passion for data-driven fundamental investing

The Data Product Associate role is the key driver in our product development and product management. You’ll gain experience in:

  • Programming: Learn Python and SQL or sharpen your existing skills by contributing to all aspects of the development process, from design and implementation to deployment and monitoring.
  • Product Development: Build new products and learn how to create something out of nothing in a fast paced environment.
  • Data: Work with massive amounts of data on the performance of important companies, using proprietary methods. Your comfort with manipulating large data sets and deriving meaningful insights from them, without losing sight of the details, will be critical.
  • Sales: Work with our sales team and customers to drive engagement and revenue.

Legal Specialist - Compliance and Licensing

We are looking to add a driven Legal Specialist: Compliance & Licensing to our legal team to help YipitData continue to be a leader in alternative data and build its data and customer portfolio. The Legal Specialist will continue to help develop our compliance program, build trust with our clients, and grow our data portfolio.

You will:

  • Respond to compliance policy and procedure questions about YipitData and its data sourcing practices
  • Work with our product team to ensure new products meet compliance standards
  • Evaluate compliance policies of potential third-party data vendors
  • Coordinate, monitor and implement compliance training programs
  • Perform quarterly compliance program review
  • Draft new, and editing existing, policies and procedures

To succeed as our Legal Specialist, You:

  • Exhibit excellent judgment and have a passion for the law.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills and have a history of mastering a topic when advising on it;
  • Thrive in the unknown and are motivated to solve new challenges each day;
  • Interact effectively with various departments, managers and employees throughout the firm;
  • Possess excellent communication skills (both oral and written);
  • Multi-task and prioritize daily work and projects across a broad range of compliance and legal disciplines;   
  • Have Excel skills, experience with data analytics a plus.  

Ideal candidates are law school graduates (bar admission is not required) with a demonstrated interest in working in-house legal department, at a fast growing company.

We’re looking to add a Recruiter to our lean People Ops team who can help us scale our ability to bring the industry’s best talent in the door quickly. Our new recruiter will focus on ensuring the talent pipeline is filled with well-matched and diverse candidates while providing a first-class experience that keeps them excited.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Review incoming resumes and screen candidates to identify the top candidates to move forward;
  • Source outstanding talent, keeping the pipelines active and reducing time to hire;
  • Network with passive candidates, expanding the reach of our brand; Manage our best in class candidate experience through Greenhouse, from application to offer with proactive communication;
  • Partner with hiring managers, interviewers, and the People Ops team to fit the hiring process to real team needs.

 

As an ideal candidate:

  • You have some experience with agency or sourced recruiting - ie, hunting down the best candidate for the job and selling them on the opportunity;
  • You enjoy networking and developing relationships;

Sales Executive - NYC

YipitData specializes in analyzing web data for institutional investors.  Four years ago, YipitData consisted of 20 people. Since then, we've grown to 100+, have quadrupled our revenue and expanded our client base to include the largest institutional investors in the world.

We are looking to add a driven Sales Executive to our team to position YipitData's must-have products within the investment field and close on targeted opportunities. Sales Executives will communicate the value of our products and develop relationships with our clients.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • You have experience in subscription sales and a track record of not only hitting goals but exceeding them
  • You have introduced new customers to a complex product (financial or other)
  • You have managed a sales process across multiple stakeholders
  • You excel in pitching a product over the phone and in person
  • You are resourceful and excited to learn
  • You are a strong communicator verbally and in writing
  • You are excited by and curious about the investment community

Experience selling to hedge fund and mutual fund analysts is positive but not required.

Head of Sales Enablement

We are looking to add a Head of Sales Enablement who will drive impact and growth by empowering all functions of the Revenue Team through development, training, and reinforcement of sales skills, strategy and client interaction best practices.

As the Head of Sales Enablement & Training you will:

  • Create onboarding programs for each Revenue Team function that develop and measure a team member’s competency and success in their role during the first 6 months of employment.
  • Produce consistent sales and client interaction processes across the Revenue Team
  • Own the ongoing development and adoption of successful sales methodologies across the organization
  • Identify areas of improvement in Revenue Team members and help them improve through 1:1 coaching
  • Find ways to measure on-boarding, training, and coaching effectiveness
  • Coach Revenue Team members through various types of mock calls and meetings with Revenue Team members to promote continuous improvement and impact
  • Participate in or review client calls and meetings to stay on top of conversational trends or changes
  • Facilitate the training and knowledge transfer of newly developed products and pitch mastery.
